The Potawatomi People

The word Potawatomi means (keepers of the fire) which refers to the three council fires a alliance which was formed between the Potawatomi,Ottawa and the Ojibwe my people originally come from the lower part of Michigan and Wisconsin. through time we spread out moving to the north south, west, and east at times we traded with other tribes today most of my people live on the reservation which is located in Kansas close to Topeka.

Grizzly Bears

The grizzly in grizzly bears refers to the bears hair tips which are faded giving the bear a grizzled look grizzly bears use to live down in the lower 48 states over 400 years of being hunted they grizzly bears moved north up into Alaska and Canada. adult female bears can weigh( 290-400 lb) adult male bears can weigh from (400-790 lb)
